Follow-up Comment #16, bug #61370 (project octave):

I do not see much improvements. For one thing, with TSAN, I cannot even start
octave on gui mode (./run-octave --gui). In clang compiled version I just got

a black screen (and two octave processes running which I have to kill -9).
With gcc compiled I got the attached windows with a popup that says 
("GNU Octave" is not responding. Force Quit / Wait) and it is killed with -9
as well.
