Follow-up Comment #2, bug #63710 (project octave):
I am not an expert on build system, somebody else would need to have a look.
I noticed a few things:
"make clean" does not remove connectivity.oct and strel.oct
In configure.ac, there is some "magick" to determine if g++ is std+11 or
better. Octave has required that for quite some time,
so perhaps it can be removed.
