Multiplying by a random factor would complicate yticklabel, measurements,
etc.
Imho that should not be necessary. (Thanks for the the workaround anyhow)

@Dmitri:
If that is indeed the issue: How is it possible, that plotting AND printing
without setting ylim manually, works?
