Update of bug #54567 (project octave):

                  Status:             In Progress => Ready For Test         
                 Summary: median(uint8) gives bad results => mean and median
gives bad results for large int values

Follow-up Comment #18:

patch #10314 was pushed to default including this fix and what i hope are
enough BISTs to catch the different cases where it mattered. marking as ready
for test.
