OK, I checked in my changes to adapt the code in Octave Forge's
main/fixed directory to build with newer versions of Octave that no
longer have DEFVAR.
When I did the commit, I saw the following message:
sh: /cvsroot/sitedocs/CVSROOT/cvstools/syncmail: No such file or directory
