I couldn't find the folder runtime/nv30gl so I looked in the SVN
revision log - these files were deleted from the repository in 2004!

I currently cannot download anthing from the AMD website, but ATI Stream
consists of Brook+ and CAL. The first is a fork from BrookGPU with the
same license (GPL+BSD3) and the second is a modified ATI graphics driver.
Andreas Romeyke mentioned the ATI Stream SDK, but I'm not using it in my
code, just the original BrookGPU! With minor modifications it should be
possible to switch to ATI Stream, which supports the features of newer
ATI graphics cards but not NVIDIA. BrookGPU has basic support for both
ATI and NVIDIA.
BrookGPU uses OpenGL or DirectX to manage the calculation whereas Brook+
(ATI Stream) speaks to the graphics driver directly.
