I have tested small script testunix.m under octave on cygwin (under
/usr/share/octave/3.2.3/m/plot
directory).
if (isunix())
disp('unix')
else
disp('not unix')
end
if (ispc())
disp('pc')
else
disp('not pc')
end
*** result is
octave:2> testunix
unix
not pc
****
The above tells that isunix() is true on cygwin so that further patch is not
needed for print()
function.
