Summary: you don't actually need sha1sum, since it is not used by the
bootstrap script because the part of the script that would use it is
not executed. But the script always checks for sha1sum and fails
sha1sum does not exist, even if it is not really needed. For now, the
quick workaround is to comment out the check for sha1sum in the
bootstrap script.
