One of the nice things about hg is that something like a central
server crash is no problem at all and no data should be lost. We can
all put back together a central repository with minimal fuss once we
have where to upload it to.

The bug tracker is a more worrying problem. I hope it's ok. I heard on
IRC that Savannah suffered an SQL injection. I hope they can bring it
back up soon. Ah, they now have a status update, looks like hashed
passwords were compromised. They say they can bring it back up during
the week

I once read an interesting blog post about handling bugs in just a
distributed manner as handling the source. Has anyone heard of a way
to do this?

 As indicated by Michael,
I'm now able to pull from savannah.  The bug-tracker is still down.
