speed.m test failures

On cygwin the tests are failing with

the first test can be correct with the following

assert (isnumeric (T_f2));
assert (size (T_f2,1), 1);
assert ((size (T_f2,2)>10));
but the second test seems incorrectly implemented, and the
message:
"subscript indices must be either positive integers or logicals"
is at least puzzling.
Or is the "speed" function still incomplete ?
