I didn't get any responses here, but chatting around in #octave, it
seems that July 16-20 would be a good time to have it. This is smack
in the middle of summer, so it gives students and academics a good
time to come, there are no huge festivals going on in Mtl at that
time, and it seems to avoid scheduling conflicts for some of the
expected "guests of honour". It's also a little further into the
future giving me more time to prepare for it.

If there are no further serious complaints about this, I would like to
cement this date and everybody to start planning for it.
