Re: cleaning up pkg.m

Here is a first changeset that moves all subfunctions
in pkg.m to separate files in the private/ directory

this is meant to make it easier to identify functions that
are already implemented elsewhere in Octave and are therefore 
redundant

another changeset removing a frst set of functions will also 
follow in nex post.

Any comments, is it OK if I push this?
