MichaelHow about having 3.8 as a testbed for the new gems, and 4.0 when they're OK ? Regards Pascal right now there appears to be no way to have the JIT compiled but off by default. A JIT expert needs to say if this is possible, or worth doing. Currently, I use 2 separately compiled systems: both aliased for --no-gui and one with JIT on and the other with JIT on. So far, this has worked since either the JIT system works, and gets correct answers, or it crashes. But this is not suitable for a release system. Michael |
