This entry in the patch list is actually a bug report: https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/index.php?7964It is a single line fix, and in diff form, not changeset. Perhaps someone with repository access could just make the change and commit it with a comment about source.
The better solution (getting rid of sleep, putting the buffer on the heap, not stack) involves much more work.
