I translated some of the strings yesterday, see the patch attached. Just discard the changes if it has been done already. I'll wait for Armin's answer to not further interfere with his ongoing work.

Hi David,
thank you for offering help. Currently Armin Müller translates some
strings and I'll merge and commit them.

@Armin: Can you make a proposal how to split the work?
