Hi All,
The status of this project is still incomplete. Here are the details :
The matrix functions expm, logm, sqrtm and funm have their m-file completed with the
help from Higham's toolboxes. However with consultation from an Octave maintainer it was
concluded that some parts of even these implementations need to be written in C++ ( utilizing Oct-files ),
probably due to speed issues.
The next part of the project needs inclusion of some other functions from Higham's toolboxes.
Overall one needs a good understanding of C++ too for this project other than 'basic linear algebra' and mfile scripting !
Also what's left in the project is best done in a GSoC.
