We had a discussion earlier about using your Graupner Empfänger R16SCAN FM35/35 B receiver with the Paparazzi autopilot.
You took a photo of the innards and from initial observations it would appear the receiver is using a MC68HC90 micro controller with I/O directly connected to the servo outputs. Initially I was thinking this would be more difficult but it may not necessarily be so. Grab a datasheet for this IC and highlight the general purpose I/O pins, paying specific attention to pins that may have triggers or counter attached to them. If you have access to an oscilloscope or logic analyzer, power up the system including an RC transmitter and hunt those I/O for a PPM stream. The receiver may have its RF section, and pass TTL-level PPM stream to the MCU for further processing.
