Dear Mr.Prashant,
Thanks a lot sir. We are really pleased to find some one in India who has successfully implemented the paparazzi project (Or may be didnt search much!).
It would be really helpful if you could help us start up this project. There are really lot of queries that we have and we believe we can get the answers for most of them especially since you have implemented this on an aircraft.
As a first note can you suggest us an ideal airframe on which we can test our module? As for our experience with RC, we are sorry to admit that we have none. A RC flying club has agreed to help us with the platform and this is the reason why we selected a SIG airframe.
Thanks for your time.

Dear Arun
Yes the paparazzi works very well on an electric platform such as the SIG 110, but I think the 110 is a huge bird. You will for sure need huge batteries and an equally huge power system. This would have its own problems to deal with regard to power management, Rf noise issues etc and above all if you are not careful with those lipos especially large backs everything can go up in smoke. Why dont you try initially on a smaller platform say 45inch wingspan, easier to handle. I have been flying auto flights regularly with no problem, using a simple trainer, works beautifully, and I get about 45min flight times if weather conditions are ideal.

If you guys have the experience of flying such big birds in your team please go ahead and use the SIG110 its a great bird for this. Read the wiki a zillion times, follow the rc groups thread that should help you get going.

Good luck on your project

Best Regards

Hi Guys,
We are about to start our project on with a paparazzi module tiny 2.11. The module is to be ordered and we are planning to implement it on a sig rascal 110 with an electric propulsion. Has anybody attempted the project with same airframe before. If you have please do reply to this mail as your suggestions can help a group of 14 students here in India complete their university project.( Though we do have a greedy plan to enter the SUAS competition 2011!).
Cheers to all,
Arun Sajeevan
