I very much like the idea. The "old" Paparazzi system, using the IR
sensors, is in my opinion best for beginners. A start-to-finish (or
purchase till AUTO2 flights) article would, in my opinion, be the most
helpful. This is where we get the most questions, and this is likely
where most newbies fail and miss out on the wonderful Paparazzi
experience.
This seems like a daunting task, but I think most of the info's
already written, and there's a couple somewhat decent guides around.
It's more a questions of pulling it all together in one place, putting
a big disclaimer ("No, this is not going to be easy.") in front and
then relying on the community for the missed bits and pieces. Maybe
beginners would be more willing to edit that article, because it's
written from a beginners point of view. A quick glance over the
mailing list would also give helpful hints where beginners have most
problems.
