Is the reason for this hardware or software related? Just wondering since I'm planning on buying one. But if the reason is hardware, I will have to wait until it has been fixed.

This will be my first autopilot, so I would have to buy everything new.

Lisa/l hasn't flow the Paparazzi fixed wing code yet. We're working
actively on it and hope to have good news in the following weeks.

Lisa/L connectors are all molex picoblades, so you should have no
issue reusing your existing cables and peripherals.

To use Lisa/L for fixed wing aircraft, an external GPS and the two IR
sensors is also needed I guess?

What kind of cables are required?

Dear Orjan

This is exactly one of the reason Lisa/L was designed for

Hello!

Is it possible to connect a mission computer running linux to the
Paparazzi?

The idea was to use Paparazzi with the required sensors as the autopilot
and
have a mission computer controlling other sensors and ground
communication.
