Re: [Paparazzi-devel] Xbee pro modules won't communicate

Wow, Eddie, you bought all this from PPZUAV?
If so the 2.4gHz XBee were already setup for 9600bps with the RPSMA one set as
Coordinator in AT mode. The other as End Device AT mode 9600. They will work
without changing anything by just plugging them in. If you got a bundle you put
the RPSMA one in the FTDI Utility board. The other into the autopilot using the
cable given. In the airframe file you'd use the line for TRANSPARENT at 9600
and like magic they will work. If you've modified wires and changed settings
you will need now to follow the Wiki.
The GPS is programmed by me at 38400. If you're trying to talk to it at 57600
using the tunnel it won't respond until you talk to it at 38400. Pinout
diagrams on the serial and download connector are different. Tx and Rx are
switched between them.
If you got all this from PPZUAV how about you email me directly: address@hidden
I can lookup your order and knowing exactly what you got tell and what you've
done we can get this working quickly. Already we sorted out the TWOG
programming over USB on the RCGroups thread. I'd prefer to write one time to
one place so either RCGroups, here or directly in email but just one place
please.
