you might try airframes/mm/fixed-wing/fw_ins_arduimu.xml. The infrared
must be removed at the moment not to have two software parts update the
estimator. Did you use settings/tuning_ins.xml as mentioned in (4)?
 

Ah, yes, this is better. Using your airframe file I also removed the ADC IR information for good measure. It seems my issue was likely the sim not ap compiling. When I selected "ap" it gave no errors. When I select "sim" as a target I got the errors. 'ins_roll_neutral' undeclared...even though it was declared in the INS section.

Thank you very much. I now have the "ap" target compiling. Is it possible to also get a compiling vn100 soon? It is also an AHRS so hopefully the module is similar. :)
