[Paparazzi-devel] We are moving the main paparazzi-software repo to github on the 19th

Hi all,

just a quick heads up for everyone.
We will switch to git as version control system and host the main
paparazzi-software repository on github.

The switch will happen on the 19.11.2010 and we will disable write
access to the subversion paparazzi software repository on savannah.

We believe this will help to provide a more stable system and also to
make it easier for contributors (which we really want to encourage!).


So far there is a preliminary git repo on
https://github.com/paparazzi/paparazzi-software. But be aware that
this might be deleted/changed repeatedly before the 19th.
This git repo includes the whole paparazzi software history but so far
I also filtered out some things to make the repo smaller:
 * the hw directory, as this is not part of paparazzi-software anymore
but in paparazzi-hardware now
 * log data from
      * sw/in_progress/inertial/data
      * sw/in_progress/barometer/data
      * sw/logalizer/matlab/data
      * sw/airborne/fms/libeknav/saved_logs
 * the srtm data already present under data/srtm

There is no reason to switch now already and we will post some guides
for the switch.

If you have any comments, suggestions, etc. please don't hesitate to
