Ok. So. We will forget the tiny 3 and we can work all together on the HB-Autopilot.

I will check if there is another features that can be useful.

Hi,
we will work on the HB-Autopilot and the normal plane integration with paparazzi.
The only changes are the Interface with the ADCs converters and different chip select wires.
There are same more features than LISA:
different rate sensors are possible by separate sensor pcbs
16 16 Bit ADC inputs
temperature sensor
different ranges of the 2 accelerations sensors
high precise (16 bit)  magnetic sensors
PCBs are GPL and free to use and to change
24 bit pressure ADC
for all kind of aircraft Quadrocopter normal plane
Sensor PCB for all microprocessors with SPI interface

and also same disadvantages:
more space
0402 parts
constructing must be done self
expensive rate sensors
We have also a plane pcb autopilot 30mm*58mm (part cost below 120 Euro)
in development and will give the development free when running  and tested with paparazzi.
Thomas can you contact me for the new pcb design?

Heinrich

Hi Guys,

once the support for the HB is there, I'd like to start an update of the HB imu design. First thing would be replacing the magneto sensors with an HMC5843, which will eliminate some complexity and cost (also those parts went out of production and are difficult to procure). Please be aware that there are still some bugs in the layout posted on the HB site.

Cheers
Thomas

Hi Rui,

so what exactly is the goal there?
Basically all listed under feature wishes are true for the HB (if we
want to keep calling it that).

Airspeed and pressure sensors are possible for all autopilots, same
goes for an external IMU and GPS (in principle).
The Lisa autopilots most of these things as well...

Hi,

I will start again on Tiny v3 but I don't have knowledge sufficient to do it
alone.

I need it to an uav that i'm developing of 2,5 meters of wingspan.

Hi,

I'm curious if anyone is actually working on the so called Tiny v3
(http://paparazzi.enac.fr/wiki/Tiny_v3)??
That seems pretty dead to me.

But I'm starting to add support for the HB autopilot and set up a new
wiki page for that one: http://paparazzi.enac.fr/wiki/HB_v1
Are there actually some of these autopilots out there?

Cheers, Felix
