[Paparazzi-devel] HITL Hardware In The Loop Simulation

Hi,

Has anyone tried the HITL-Simulation with flight gear yet? Does it work?

What are the benefits of this simulation type? If I had a precise model of my airframe would parameter tuning be possible in the simulation?

I wonder if it would be a good instrument to test new control algorithms.

Another idea  is to get students familiar with the Paparazzi system in simulation. Going real flying with the Students is always  a big effort.
