regarding the libpng error...
You're not the only one to get this Piotr also had it and I saw it once.

What you could try is
sudo port install libpng
This will install the macports version of the library.

What I think is happening is that you have a version in /usr/lib that is being 
picked up and the compiler is having problems with it for some reason...
If this fixes it then we can add it as a dependency of the paparazzi-tools port.
