Hi Chris,

Yes, I power the Servos from the TWOG 5V rail.
Tomorrow I will try the things you say:

-Power the servos from a external BEC.
-Disconnect the modem (XBEE PRO 2.4GHZ).
-Test with the IR sensors.

I'll report you the results.

Rafa.

Do you power the servos from a high amperage BEC or from the autopilot's 5v rail?
Generally it is a bad idea to power the servos (any servo in fact) from the autopilot's 5v rail.
Well if the elevator moves in AUTO1 (not AUTO2) without moving the rc transmitter stick then there is
a problem as in AUTO1 the elevator should only move if you move the plane or the rc transmitter stick.
If this is the case i can't think of anything else that could move the elevator other than a low voltage
source with small current ability causing a reset, bad wiring, rf noise from the modem
(you could try and disconnect the modem) or a defective unit.
Also if you have the IR sensors you could try and test the installation with those in order to isolate the
cause of the problem.
Chris
