Hi Reto,

Do you have global read permissions on /dev/ttyACM0 (i.e sudo chmod 777 /dev/ttyACM0)?

--G

Hi guys,

I don't get my Paparazzi GPS Module to work. In the GCS there isn't
any GPS activity, while the other functions (PFD etc.) work just fine.
I don't get connection to the Paparazzi GPS Module using the USB
tunnel via a TWOG in u-center. My setup:

OS: Ubuntu Maverick
Git version: Jan 27, 2011
Wine version: 1.2.2
u-center: 6.10
GPS Module: Paparazzi GPS13 V0.90 by Martin & Poine

I loaded the tunnel on the TWOG adding <target name="usb_tunnel_0"
board="twog_1.0"/> to my airframe file and using Paparazzi Center to
build and upload. The device /dev/ttyACM0 is found. Everything fine so
far.

I created the symbolic link:
ln -s /dev/ttyACM0 ~/.wine/dosdevices/COM1

I can start the u-center but cannot connect to the GPS Module. I tried
several ports and baudrates.

I measure 3.3V in the power supply of the GPS module. It is supplied
accordingly by TWOG. In the wiki I read "It is powered from the 5v
line on the "downloads" connector of a TWOG." Is this the problem?

Does the Paparazzi GPS module require 5V? Am I missing something else
in my setup?

Cheers, Reto
