Hi Monika,

I had a very similar problem with a Wi232 module (connected via a FTDI232 to the USB Port).
I always have to disconnect and reconnect the module before GCS can use it.
Don't ask me why - it simply works on my system.

after having properly installed airspeed-sensor and xbee-modems to the Tiny (2.11) I started installing the ArduIMU to the airframe file. The build is successful in the mean time but after transferring to the Tiny 2.11 XBee communication does not work any more.

The error message is like:
Failure("Error opening modem serial device : fd < 0 (/dev/paparazzi/xbee)")

The modem works with XCTU fine. All preferences are fine like PAN and baud rate). I guess it is some error between PC (Ubuntu) and XBee-modem, maybe with the USB port. I checked it with udevadm monitor --property  but it seems fine to me (see attached message of udevadm monitor)

Any idea?


By the way: in the airframefile I put ArduImu to i2C0 and airspeed-sensor to i2C1. Is that necessary?
