I would be very interested in that workflow.

Sure. Thanks for helping out.
I will be busy with the physical aspects of that challenge for a while. 
And remote triggering will still be a issue.
I have to investigate if my camera has one of those IR triggers. Perhaps 
I can McGyver something...
