As I said, that was a regressin in 4.0.2_stable (you get the default old version 89 instead of the newly downloaded one).
Please do a git pull to get the fix...

Hi Gautier,

thank you for your reply.
There is an error coming up.
DOWNLOAD: google maps version code
Could not download google maps version code

conf/maps.xml:
<!DOCTYPE maps SYSTEM "maps.dtd">

<maps google_version="89"/>

It is a google map version issue.
When you type 'make' in paparazzi folder, it should look for the google map version (at the beginning). What does it says ? Do you have an error while downloading ?
What is the content of the file conf/maps.xml ?

Hi Felix,

I think I run 4.0.2_stable, that's what paparazzi_version says: v4.0.2_stable-0-g1fd3cbc-dirty
Since I don't do any coding, it can only be a kind of user error.

BTW, after removing all files from the maps directory and restarting GCS, I got the well known 404s.

Hi Steffen,

you are running exactly 4.0.2_stable?
Unfortunately that was a regression and fixed one commit later again.
Just pull the latest v4.0_stable...

Will make a tag for 4.0.3_stable soon..

Hi there,

using PPRZ 4.0.2 I get a very satellite picture of my area here in Germany.
It was quite nice, like Google Maps are, in the past but for unknown reason it changed.

No error messages in Paparazzi Center, Internet is alive - all looks fine to me.
Maps source is Google, Policy is set to CacheOrHttp (tried nocache with same result).

Cheers,
