The problem with that is that the satellites might get configured wrongly. 
During the bind process you tell the satellite what kind of a receiver you are. 
Lisa/M is telling the receiver that it is the biggest and most advanced 
receiver currently known. And also expects the data to be formatted the way 
that receiver would.

If you bind using an external receiver it is not guaranteed that the satellite 
will send out the data in a format that is expected by Lisa/M causing possible 
crashes due to miscommunication.

Thus you should _ALWAYS_ use Lisa/M to bind your satellites. _NEVER_ an 
external receiver. Otherwise you are risking your vehicle.
