Parent: 96a5b81738e3f4451d72ce3d5115730b09f8812c (dfuse: Move DfuSe options handling into dfuse.c)
Enfant:  230e44950b733b2b2dc19add3f60b3f68696e8e6 (dfuse: Support arbitrary upload lengths)
Branche: master, remotes/origin/hps-rewrite, remotes/origin/master, remotes/origin/stefan/force-suffix
Suit: v0.6
Précède: v0.7

dfuse: Add upload length modifier to --dfuse-address option

The default is to upload to the end of the memory segment,
or just 16KB if the start address is unknown.

Now a length can be added after the address, separated by a colon,
for instance to upload just 4KB:
     dfu-util -U file --dfuse-address 0x08003000:4096

    Signed-off-by: Tormod Volden <address@hidden>

Which basically means that the way we pass the start address and the length is not valid with v0.5 (introduced between 0.6 and 0.7)

No idea how to do it properly for both version, or we don't do it at all with 0.5

Gautier,

do we need to change the dfu-util command according to the version that is installed?
Is the verify the problem with 0.5?

Cheers, Felix

Hi again,

Actually you are right, there is a problem. You have the error when flashing with dfu-util 0.5 (package in ubuntu) but it works with 0.7 (from source).
In fact your autopilot is probably flashed correctly, with we have recently added a extra check, but the command seems to be incompatible with version 0.5.

@Martin, do you have a solution for this ?
