I see, thank you. Choosing that AC auto chose the older telemetry file. The newer imu file includes it.

Non issue, the old days with IR sensors a rate gyro was often used so that would make sense it was there.

Sincerely,
David

Hi,
I use this message regularly. It is included in "default_fixedwing_imu.xml".

Hello All,

I just made a batch of UmarimLite boards and they have passed testing
in GCS. However I no longer see messages for ACCEL in the output from
raw sensors or just viewing messages (tool). The GYRO output raw or
just in the messages is there. The attitude is displayed correctly. Is
there a new way to view accelerometer data now?

The board file is the sample A/C UMARIMLITE
(arframes/examples/umarim_lite_v2.xml)
The flight plan is just dummy.xml the settings file is
fixedwing_basic.xml and telemetry is default_fixedwing.xml

Paparazzi version is: v5.1.1_testing-108-g7a23461-dirty

All seems normal except no output from ACCEL in messages either in
default or raw_sensors setting. So I edited the
"default_fixedwing.xml" file and added: <message name="IMU_ACCEL"
      period="1.1"/>

This gave me back the ACCEL messages.

Did someone get bored with seeing ACCEL messages and decided it should
not output by default? Seems like a nice thing to me to output. Am I
the only one who uses it?

Cheers,
David
