=================== BUG #460: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: None Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-May-27 19:43
Category: API - Setup Bug Group: 0.9.14 RC3
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Closed Component Version: None
Platform Version: Windows Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: Will not work on windows
Original Submission: Does not work on windows using php 4.2 downloaded from
php.net because it does not include php_mcrypt.dll. This
could probably be sovled by installing this dll but it does
not seem to be readily available on the internet. I searched
on google but the one site which had dlls appeared to be
down.

Hi None
It is possible to use phpgw without mcrypt ... just disable it in your
configuration ... but email passwords (and some other info??) is stored as
plain text in the db. The login password is stored as a md5 value regardless.
Cheers
