Summary: cannot complete setup -- Parse errors

Original Submission:
mandrake 8.2 , phpgroupware 9.14RC3 from CVS.
after running setup and creating header.inc.php then press continue I receive
the message

Parse error: parse error in /var/www/html/phpgroupware/header.inc.php on line
107

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
started at
/var/www/html/phpgroupware/header.inc.php:107) in
/var/www/html/phpgroupware/setup/index.php on
line 62

If I then browse to the phpgroupware root folder I receive this message

Parse error: parse error in /var/www/html/phpgroupware/header.inc.php on line
107

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: createobject() in
/var/www/html/phpgroupware/login.php on
line 35

Any ideas?
