Details:

We are extensively using the notes input box of the addressbook in version
0.9.14.006, which has been removed in the current version (because of infolog
support probably).

After upgrading to the latest version, the "notes" field is still present in
the phpgw_addressbook database. The contents is also copied into the
phpgw_contact_note table.

Although it is possible to search within the notes - by uncommenting the line
"array('note', 'Note Data')," in the
addressbook/inc/class.uiaddressbook.inc.php - it is still not possible to
view or edit the notes (neither by opening the contact, nor by looking into
the info log).

For me this is a bug rather than a feature request, because it's a feature
that got lost. Not being able to view or edit the "old" notes is a reason for
not upgrading to the new version, which seems to be much better in general
(not including the addressbook).

See also support #103054 (which has been moved to the support category).
