automake-1.6 is only downloaded, 'cause its needed for Hermes (not
sure why exactly?!). For the moment I would like to stay with
automake-1.4, since that has a by far larger install base and its
actually enough to compile Pingus at the moment when one uses non-CVS
Hermes.
After all I am just waiting till automake-1.6 hits Debian unstable.

That one should already be solved, it was an error in the AM_GNU_GETTEXT
check. Rerun ./autogen.sh.
