SEGFAULT when writing array of arrays to buffer

Hello,

I can reproduce bug 28380 [1] using the latest revision of GNU poke from 
the git repository (revision 52fd6468b803c8561762172d961c92c0b298d728). 
Since this bug is marked as UNCONFIRMED, I think it should be at least 
marked CONFIRMED if a developer can reproduce the steps listed below 
that provokes the crash.

I can provide additional details if asked.
