Anyone else getting this problem:

In file included from casefile.c:38:
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h: In function `VALGRIND_PRINTF':
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h:227: error: `asm' undeclared (first use in
this function)
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h:227: error: (Each undeclared identifier is
reported only once
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h:227: error: for each function it appears in.)
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h:227: error: parse error before "volatile"
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h: In function `VALGRIND_PRINTF_BACKTRACE':
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h:242: error: `asm' undeclared (first use in
this function)
/usr/include/valgrind/valgrind.h:242: error: parse error before "volatile"
make[3]: *** [casefile.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/john/PSPP/pspp/src'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

I've always had it on a Red Hat box I use occasionally, and I thought
it was a badly installed copy of valgrind. That's why I added the
--without-valgrind option.

But now I'm suddenly getting it on my Debian sarge box.

Any ideas?
