Paired Samples T-Test

I am unsure of what you mean by "set post scores".  A paired samples T-Test
tests for differences between the values on a casewise basis.  The null 
hypothesis
is that there is no difference.

There is no need to "set scores".  Perhaps you can explain a bit further what 
you are trying to do.
