perl build errors on Fedora

perl build errors on Fedora |

I recently switched from Debian to Fedora on my development machine,
and I'm hitting a bunch of errors building the Perl module. I suspect that
it's a Perl version difference. Fedora 33 has Perl 5.32.1.
For now, I'll build without Perl.
