I don't underztand the question.

What syntax or menus are you using to create the new variaable?

Mostdialog box es have a "Paste" button which  allows you to see the syntax 
used.  Also,there isthe
journal file which contains alog of everything that was done.

Not sure if this helps.

Perhaps you can explain your questionmore fully.
