Simple Copy/Paste beteen files?

Hello,

I am trying to merge data from one .sav into another. In SPSS I could do
the Merge utility and everything worked fine. I do not see that here. So
I tried doing a simple copy/paste, but that too does not work...

Any other suggestion on how I can get variable 1 from file A to variable
1 file B?
