Here's the line 547 of gl/unistd.h:

And gcc --version shows 4.7.3.

Coincidently I tried building on Cygwin just a few days ago and didn't run into this problem.
However I have seen that error message before.  Usually is means that between gnulib and autoconf
the  wrong definition of _GL_INLINE has been assumed.

What do you see  on line 547 of gl/unistd.h ?

And what version of gcc do you have?
