     After make-check I got no errors:
     1023 tests were successful.
     8 tests were skipped.
     
     I don't know how important are the skipped tests. Attached the

Thanks.  This looks good.  Regarding the skipped tests:

103 - I think this is normally skipped on a 64 bit architecture.  Its relevant 
only for 32 bits.

212 - This means that you either didn't build in the postgres reading 
capabilities or your machine
      doesn't have a postgres server installed.

963..967  - These being skipped surprises me.  I suspect you ran "make check" 
as root, which is a bad idea.

1031  - This is skipped if you don't have the Text::Diff perl module installed.
        apt-get install libtext-diff-perl
