Perfect!  I updated to the lastest 1.5.4 drop (https://caeis.etech.fh-augsburg.de/downloads/windows/pspp-win-daily/1.5.4-g435b06/) and this is working as I would expect.

This is a bug that I fixed around the beginning of April, so using a sufficiently new version of PSPP will avoid the problem.
