directly in Fedora 37 or should I stick to your COPR?

It should be released in 1-2 days by the system.  It is at 6 days
currently and normally sits in testing for 7 days.  It then can take up
to a day to be packaged, signed and distributed.

Aha, I could have checked it myself:

https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/?packages=rdiff-backup

and I can install it already as well using:

sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2022-36dabbe5d9

I'll give it karma once I've done my first backup.

There won't be karma but it's not your fault: it was me who removed the ability to log with a function, because I thought it isn't used, and I oversaw a few places in rpath.py where it's used (though I don't see the added value vs. a fixed string). OK, I need to fix this quickly.
