Firstly, I have to say that it sucks ass that I cannot
simply reply to the email notification I get to add a
followup to your support database. I used the savannah
support feature instead of just email because I figured that
would be easiest for you, but it is certainly more of a
hassle for me.

Well, the mailing lists in question are handled by whoever
is doing the main gnu.org list handling, so I thought you
might know. I will just email the appropriate admin
addresses.
Or better yet, I was hoping you might have some more general
plan for taking care of attaching all of the existing public
gnu.org mailing lists run by the main gnu.org mailer
maintainers to
the savannah projects you have created en masse for all the
pre-savannah GNU projects.

The best way to do the migration, imho is that you ask the
person in charge of your mailing lists to get an account on
savannah.gnu.org + do the migration. Is this a possible
option ?

The list manualy handled (I guess you mean they only show in
the /com/mailer/aliases file) could be migrated manualy to
mailman. Note that savannah does not use a separate mailman
installation, it's the same as every mailman handled mailing
lists. Guillaume spent quite some time doing this to avoid
maintaining two separate mailman installations. In short,
migrating from manual handled to mailman handled is out of
the scope of savannah and you should talk to people in
charge of the mailman administration.

Hope that helps a bit although I'm not so sure :-}
