This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

gnu.regexp is an existing (since 1998) Java language project to provide an API 
for regular expression use.  The existing home page is 
http://www.cacas.org/java/gnu/regexp/.  gnu.regexp is an official GNU Java 
project, licensed under the LGPL.

The software continues to be refined in the areas of additional features, 
performance, stability and documentation.
